The initial stages

This book covers the earliest stages of learning and is specifically designed for young beginners learning individually or in groups. The 'New Things' sections introduce new notes, rhythms and techniques in a structured, systematic way. Simple chords are also introduced and can be used at the descretion of the teacher.

This book covers the area from approximately Grade 1 to Grade 3. It also includes recently rediscovered works by Jose Ferrer, some published for the first time.
